What are classes?
WHAT ARE CLASSES? – AND HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT FROM HOMEROOMS?
Homerooms and classes are linked together but are fundamentally different. A homeroom – or form room – gathers all your students in the group that they identify as being part of. Such as homeroom 3-A, homeroom 2-1 etc. Classes are different and are defined by a subject and teacher.
Classes can either comprise a whole homeroom – or a mix of students from different homerooms taught by the same teacher in a particular subject.
Classes can be set up either by the school administrator or Principal – or by the teachers themselves using the ‘Add class’ function from the Class overview, or ‘Manage – classes’ for Principals. Once a class has been created, the class teacher it has been set up for, can then take attendance for the specific class, as well as enter grades for that same class.
